It's always fun to meet your newest clients at a wedding you previously shot. Christiana and Liang wanted to have their engagement photos shot at the Philadelphia Art Museum, and we had a blast. I'm looking forward to their wedding in September, I hear their may be some Chinese wedding traditions! And I'm especially looking forward to that 10-course meal they told me so much about, looks like I'll have to be instagraming every plate.
Julia and I have been friends since high school. We were involved in orchestra and chorale, and I am thrilled to be shooting Julia and John's wedding this March! Julia and John's love story began inside the halls of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. So when we were discussing places to photograph, it was pretty evident that we needed to get some photographs there. Philadelphia is a big part of their lives, so it was fun to visit the city again (after all I did live there at one point of my life). This is definitely the city of love.
Two weekends ago I had the chance to photograph and film this surprise proposal right behind the Art Museum in Philly. Chris came up with a crazy plan in order to make Victoria believe she was taking a video survey to get a discount at the Water Works Restaurant. She fell for it (good --- because I was getting nervous --- err -- maybe Chris was getting nervous). Here are the pictures!
My 24th year of life has blessed me so much. I am completing my first full feature documentary, "The Backyard Philly Project" which premieres this May, and God gave me wonderful twin boys. On top of all of this, I am honored to be a part of Drexel Magazine's Class of 2013 '40 under Forty' for my accomplishments with Ferasha Films. Thank you all for walking with me on this journey.
