Mummers Museum Wedding Celebration with Will + Kate

Ok, so before I deleted my facebook page, I may have stalked Will's facebook for a while when he announced that they were considering doing their wedding at the Mummers Museum. I've known Will since my Drexel University days, and it was seriously a blast to reunite and photograph his wedding celebration and meet his wife Kate! And. it. was. a. celebration. No. joke. We got to spend two hours just photographing (what! That never happens in real life), and then a simple ceremony, and PARTY! Everyone was celebrating like a Mummer and it wasn't even New Year's Day. I'm so happy that this was my last wedding from 2015, and it seriously went out with a bang. Now here's to 2016!

The Magical Gardens in Philadelphia with Victoria + Joshua

I just knew that Victoria and Joshua were going to be a blast. When they approached me to photograph their wedding one of the things I asked them was to write me something about themselves. If you start an e-mail like this, then you definitely got my attention: "I think one of the things we really like about Philly is venturing into new places. This speaks to our love for adventures, more specifically, adventures with each other. Most times this means we are looking for new places to eat that are tucked away in the city, but other times we just venture around and pick something spontaneous....we go where the belly calls us! When the adventure doesn't revolve around food, we like to walk around and make the city our playground." So here is our Philadelphia's Magical Garden shoot --- while also venturing into the city. Enjoy and share!

A wedding in Lancaster, PA / Kasey + Paddy

Let me begin by telling you that this wedding was a special one. Why? Because Kasey and Patrick are surrounded by the most wonderful friends and family. I mean, Patricks's brother flew in Robby Hecht from Nashville, TN to sing a special song that means so much to Kasey and Patrick. With all the weddings I shot so far, this wins the most wonderful best man speech in the world. I think we were all just so shocked by this special surprise and mesmerized by Robby Hecht singing "Pot of Gold", that I almost forgot to take pictures! So for all the Best Men out in the world, you need to top this one.

So take a listen to "Pot of Gold" when you look through Kasey and Patrick's photos, because you'll just fall in love with this couple. Congratulations Kasey and Patrick! Many happy years to you both.

Last but not least, Kasey and Patrick's photo booth!:

Wedding Ceremony: St. Mark's United Methodist Church / Reception: The Barn at the Overlook / Big thanks to my assistant for the day, Eliseo Rivera. He rocked it.

If you want to see more from Kasey and Patrick, check out their engagement photos we did last year!

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer / Christina & Liang

If you ever want to make your photographer happy (and photo happy), invite him/her to your 12 course Chinese meal reception. Seriously one of the most unique receptions I've ever attended, and I didn't even leave hungry. Christina and Liang, I wish you the very best. I hope you enjoy this wedding blog preview (and for those admiring, if you like what you see -- hit the share button at the bottom of this post!).

Boston Wedding Photographer / Xinlei + Youchao

I'm honored that Xinlei and Youchao invited my husband and I to come and photograph their wedding day up in Belmont, Massachusetts. My husband and I don't often get to photograph with each other since he already works a full-time job, but when we are presented with an opportunity to escape for a weekend, he's right by my side. Xinlei and Youchao are one of the most hospitable couples I have ever come across, and really made us feel like family (even though every was in Chinese!). It's always interesting photographing a wedding day, because a couple invites you into one of the most intimate moments of their life, and here we are complete strangers witnessing lovers proclaim their love in front of their loved ones and God.

Happy marriage to Xinlei and Youchao. I hope you enjoy your wedding blog preview.
